As a result of the very significant climb in COVID numbers statewide, OPWDD is reinstating enhanced limitations on visitation to all certified residences. In an effort to protect individuals supported and our staff, Able2 will be reinstating the limitations immediately. Visitation remains possible – but we must reinstate the protocols that limit the number of visitors on site, the length of time of visit, and location where visits occur. This means all visits to any residence must be pre-scheduled through the respective Manager, and are limited to no more than 2 persons at one time, for no greater than 2.5 hrs. at a time. As visitors pre-schedule, Managers will identify where the visit should occur within the house. Of course, as always, masks and health screenings continue — along with hand sanitizing and social distancing. This goes into effect immediately, Thursday, January 6th at all certified residences.
